Living with a disability or chronic health condition comes with challenges – knowledge on how to select, prepare and cook healthy food can be confusing which can impact on your health and quality of life. Let me support you in improving your health and quality of life through nutrition education, meal planning and cooking classes.

Hi and welcome,

I’m Julie, a degree qualified Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc) with a background in cooking with whole and real foods. I am passionate about assisting families affected by chronic health conditions and disability create long-term healthy eating habits.

With a diverse background of working in a pharmacy and cooking, prompted me to have a keen interest in both science and food. After having children and experiencing their health challenges, I realised I wanted to find out more about the science of food and the impact food has on health, which led me to study a Health Science degree specialising in nutritional medicine. This degree provided me with the knowledge and skills which I bring to my clinic in supporting clients with sensory and difficult eating habits, food intolerances, disability health and chronic health conditions. I utilise “food as medicine” and the latest scientific research to ensure you are nourished and feel more energised.

I am motivated daily by seeing clients who have enhanced their health and are eating a wider variety of foods, experience less anxiety, have better sleep and have improved concentration at home, school and work.

Having a passion for all thing’s food and nutrition therapy, I will provide you and your family with individualised nutrition to support food intolerances, sensory and difficult eating behaviours and disability health.

I am based in south east Queensland, however all services are offered Australia-wide via online/telehealth.

With personal experience in chronic health management and disability health, let me support you to achieve your health goals. If you’d like to work with me hit the book now button below.

“Through my own experience, with a diagnosis of coeliac disease and having children with Autism spectrum disorder, I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced in knowing how to eat and cook nourishing meals along with dealing with food intolerances and sensory and difficult eating behaviours.”
